Enabling Affordability, Creating Community
Network for Oregon Affordable Housing (NOAH) was established in 1990 as a statewide non-profit corporation through the leadership of the Oregon Bankers Association. NOAH provides a growing array of financial tools for affordable housing, including pre-development loans, long-term financing, access to tax-exempt bond financing and technical assistance. These resources enable organizations to develop affordable housing options in their community.
NOAH’s professional team understands the diversity of our state. In addition to industry experience, many of NOAH’s staff are members of community committees and non-profit Boards. This involvement strengthens our understanding of our communities and the complex issues that we face in Oregon.
We work to foster smart development and community revitalization, bringing hope and empowerment to lower-income Oregonians. Whether it's to help an urban neighborhood transform a vacant building into a mixed-use landmark, invigorate a rural town through new construction, or provide a homeless family with its first stable housing environment, NOAH’s resources are a key link in the chain of community partners dedicated to increasing Oregon’s supply of affordable housing.
With its expertise, access to the financial resources of member banks, and unsurpassed customer service, NOAH is the clear choice for financing affordable housing. |
